It's my little piece of the internet. I am supreme ruler here. What I say, goes.
Woahhhhh! Updated! It happens!!
Check out my guest book thingy and let me know what sucks on here and what I should add.
More about me:
Just who the hell am I, anyway? I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. UPDATE!!! Back
in the Hammer. Hamilton, ON now! My full name is William John Russell Woodsworth (sounds stuffy, eh?). Thank you
to my parents for saddling me with 3 christian names. I have a very small family which includes a mother, aunt
with uncle, grandmother, sister and 2 nephews. That's as far as I know. That's it, that's all she wrote!
I vote NDP (yeah, I know...) but I have good reason to vote that way. Look up J.S. Woodsworth. I'm related.
He started the CCF party which later became the NDP. Not that I vote solely because of that. There are solid reasons.
If you don't know, I probably don't want to talk to you.
Likes and Dislikes
I like nice people. The "it's-all-about-me" people need to be destroyed. Or at least
given a frontal lobotomy. I like cats. Shut up. I like the internet. I like food [dammit!].
I like people-watching, for various and sometimes obvious reasons. I like long talks with interesting
people. I like writing. When will I sit down and get to that novel? Matt, I bet we can collaborate.
Nudge, nudge..... And by the way, I still think your book rules. Publish it, or I'll kill you.
I really hate people that can recite a film from start to finish (annoying the person trying to watch
it for the first time). There is a line that one has crossed there... it's called SANITY. A few quotable phrases, ok.. but
the whole film... there is something wrong with you. Really. Actually, those people fit into the frontal lobotomy category.
I hate people who refuse to learn. I hate discrimination of any kind. Seriously, I'm not just saying
that.
Pictures so far
I have so few! I destroyed the peice-of-shit scanner that I had because I'm
sure that it was responsible for the many times my computer crashed. So friends, email me any pics you
got! No nekkid ones allowed! (Or altered pics... that would be mean.... funny, but mean!) It's happened. ***Glares
at Chris....
My Favorites
Favorite Band or Musician: Do I have to pick? Seriously, if it's not changing
every bloody day, it changes every other day. I expose myself to all genres. I like Jimmy Eat World, Linkin
Park, Eminem, Three Doors Down, 3 Days Grace, Evanescence, Avril Lavigne [sorry, but it's true]... I can't choose, really!
Top 40, some Rap, Rock 'N' Roll, New Age. There are tons more that I listen to, but a favourite? Not as easy
as I thought it would be.
Favorite TV show: LOST... Heroes is a close second, wait TIE
Favorite
movie: Lord of the Rings
Favorite book: The Fountainhead, The Wheel of Time
Series
Favorite food: We really don't have time for that, trust me
My Hobbies
I love to teach English as a Second language. It's amazing to see the light go on and know that it was ME that made that
happen. Selfish, yes, but it helps people. What else are we here for?
I also like to play video games, mostly RPGs
where I can save the world with one fell swoop of my mighty sword and... er, never mind. I read a lot (possibly a geek, yes)
and I like to party with the right people. The wrong people will know who they are from just one withering glance!
Hey, they didn't allow much choice for headings on this template. I think they WANT you to look stupid. Not that I have
to try too hard to manage that on my own. I've been told that it doesn't take much for me. For real. I'm
just getting used to this whole thing. I deleted a few headings and put in a few of my own.
If there was a cheap way (aka no-money-at-all-way) to copyright my material, I would post some poetry of mine that was
done waaaaay back when I was a "minor niner" in high school. Way too sappy, but I don't want anyone to steal any of
it anyway! (Highly unlikely, I know)
I will try to update this on a weekly basis. Good intentions, but I seriously think that will not
happen. Because I'm lazy? Yeah, that's it. No really, I have a life. I do. Stop staring at me.
I definitely need more pictures. Oh yeah.... a good way to reach me is by email and that is woodyy@hotmail.com Or you could just hit the email link thing at the bottom of the screen. I'm just figuring all of this stuff out
as I go.

I'm giving this site another chance. Ok, I'm really giving myself another chance! I added a weather button
on my site so you can see what I'm experiencing weather wise. Ok, update on the weather button. It's for Hamilton
where I used to live. That sucks. How the hell do I change that? Forget it... UPDATE! Back in
Hamilton as I said up there ^ . But, where is the weather button?
Since people have been asking.......
My position on God. Do I believe? The simple answer. No. The not so simple answer..... read
on but no hate mail!!
I think the concept of a god came from humans not understanding natural phenomena and the like. Lightning,
earthquakes, fires, floods, etc. Who or what made that happen? [they were thinking] A powerful being, a 'god'.
There were many gods and goddesses in the Roman and Greek pantheon to explain MANY different mysteries. Even a
god of death, the question that everyone needs answered. Who wants to die? Of course everyone wants
everlasting life, really. The thought of 'nothing' after death is incomprehensible. So we hang on to the idea
that there must be something. And then sprang the theory of ONE god being THE MOST POWERFUL. A supreme being.
That had to happen eventually because everyone wants to be on the winning team, right? Religion is just another form
of enslavement, in my opinion. The only one good thing about it is this: You follow laws, rules and regulations
that [for the most part] are not harmful. The Romans and many other powerful nations were skilled at absorbing cultures
along with religious beliefs to make the assimilation of that conquered country go as smooth as possible. So now we
have a history of smooth talkers messing with religion. What a great way to spread 'the truth',
eh?
I think [note that I said THINK] some people use religion as a crutch to make themselves feel happy that they
WILL have life after death. It has a big draw on the lonely, old, and those afraid of death. You can extrapolate
your own reasons for each. I ask constantly why a benevolent god would let so much war, famine, and disease happen.
And I get the same old tired responses that DON'T answer the question. "It's a test." "God gave Satan a certain
amount of time to rule the world." Sorry, I'm not buying it. He's letting this happen? No thanks.
What a special god you believe in.....
Why do trained theologians have differences of opinion? Why do educated translators disagree over Greek and
Hebrew meanings? WHY ALL THE CONFUSION? Shouldn't a document that was "divinely inspired" by THE GOD be as clear
as possible? Why are most historical wars and contemporary, for that matter, fought in the name of God?
I won't even go into all of the bible contradictions and failed prophecies. If you want me to ....email me!
I can agree that all questions were once spiritual. ONCE spiritual. As in the past. So a
bible [from the greek BIBLOS, meaning book] was written to 'explain' a few things. Just what those were, I still don't
know. Since the beginning of time spirituality and religion have been called upon to fill in the gaps that science did
not understand. Zeus was once thought to make lightning, Poseidon raged in the oceans and seas with the power to cause
earthquakes, Hephaestus forging god-like weapons was the reason for volcanic activity. Science has now proven those
gods to be false. Soon all gods will be proven to be false.
Science has provided answers to almost every question that man can ask. There are only a few questions
left and they are the esoteric ones. Where do we come from? What are we doing here? What is the meaning
of life.. and the universe? Again, science has not answered these questions.... yet. So humans fall prey to the
'filling in the gap' syndrome with spirituality and religion. Doubt and the unknown is religion's last shred of control.
It used to be fear. Should religion win by default because science cannot yet provide an answer? I think not.
I feel that organized religion is for those who can't/won't/don't want to think for themselves. It frightens
me how readily some people will allow themselves to be told what and how to think instead of exercising their brains and figuring
it out for themselves. I don't need some authoritarian and dogmatic religion and an archaic 2000 year-old book to tell me
how, when, and where to act. My view is just be nice to people and you won't need religion. When is the last time you had
a purring kitten fall asleep in your lap until it stops purring? How something so little can make me so happy is beyond my
understanding. Some things just are. And that's all the religion I need.
I want to believe in God and be like everyone else. I just can't take that 'leap of faith' that other
people can. Here is the definiton of Faith: Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.
What?!? You're kidding me, right?
Ok, now that THAT is out of my system, moving right along.......
I actually have had people sign my guestbook! JOY! Those suckers!! Just kidding. I
get a perverse thrill when I see yet another entry. Keep on truckin' people! If you put in your address for your
webpage [or if you prefer to keep it confidential, just email it to me] I will sign your guestbook thingy. If you have
one. NOTE: DO NOT ask me how to get a guestbook thingy to magically appear on your website. This TRIPOD/LYCOS
site here gives me enough to play around with but does not actually TEACH anything. Maybe you should just start one
with this site? I am not getting paid for this plug, trust me. Or I'd give up my day job... and my night
job. I work WAAAAAY too much.
This rambling is largely due to the fact that I want to bump the picture of me and Sarah Slean to the next
column to fit with the whole line of pics I have. If it doesn't work, I will be back! Maybe not today though.
I'm lazy.

I wish I was more of a picture taker. I wish my family was too! Anyway, that pic of Spindle was before he
was a year old. I often regret not taking his twin. It would have been fun but the twin was already spoken for.
I'm scrounging for more pics as you are reading this. [Ok, not really... but every now and then I am]
Did I mention that I'm a video game addict? I play console games as opposed to computer games. This includes Playstation,
Nintendo 64, and PS2. Right now, I'm playing Ogre Battle 64, and I still yell like a kid if I'm getting my ass kicked. One
day, I will beat it! Update: screw Ogre Battle. On to my Game Boy Advance and Sword of Mana!
...... Ok, wow. Who knew that Game Boy Advance sucked the life out of batteries so damned quickly?!?!
This quick game rocks. I managed 37 seconds!

Try this OZ 'Prison Bitch' Name Generator
I couldn't resist this MJ one
Every now and then I will update this site mostly by adding links that have been sent to me by friends that I think I
HAVE to share. Yep, these are the ones that are x-rated, not acceptable [politically correct], or just plain rude.
You know you wannnnnnnnna!
Update on the guestbook thing. Seems that I had it for a bit, but then screwed it up
somehow. I think I will try for something different in the next few days. See how I'm writing as if people are reading my
site? LOL This guestbook just doesn't want to work for me!! ***Moves on to other cool things....
Alrighty
then, looks like we have come to the end of this wondrous webpage of mine. That was the grand tour.
...... It was free, don't look so letdown, asshole. As soon as I find out the EASIEST way to learn HTML, I will probably
dump this 'training site' and try one on my own! Yeah, update on the HTML.... that will take a few years. I have
to suffer with this site for now! :-)
Thanks for reading all the way to the end. NOW E-MAIL ME!!
